Director and senior lecturer for MFR UK,

Ruth has trained in many styles of MFR since qualifying as a remedial massage therapist in the USA in 2000. She specialised in the John F. Barnes approach to myofascial release including completing an internship at one of John’s main treatment centres in the USA and assisting on some of his seminars. As well as teaching MFR she also runs a busy treatment centre in Glasgow offering single and intensive MFR therapy programmes. Ruth has been practising MFR for 10 years and has been teaching MFR for almost 8 years.

Course programme

Advanced Clinical Diploma in Integrated Myofascial Therapy
MFR is the missing link in traditional therapy. MFR UK has presented workshops around the UK for healthcare professionals since 2004 teaching physiotherapists, remedial, sports and massage therapists this fantastic and effective technique.
Workshops are around the UK and internationally commencing at level 1. The entire diploma comprises of 15 days including the skills master class and exam.
MFR UK presents at Camexpo and in 2014 won the Outstanding Achievemnt of the Year to the industry.
