Course Overview
The practical techniques covered on this course are all underpinned by specifically related theory. This includes National and industry health and safety regulations, methods of sterilization and the spread of infection. It will improve and progress the skills you already have as a nail technician and include skills using coloured acrylics, gels and also alectric filing. Also you would cover anatomy and physiology relating to the hands and feet, and a wide range of skin and nail diseases and disorders.

Who The Course is for
The course is for anyone who has completed the Level 2 Nail Services qualification and would like to further their career in Nail Treatments.

Entry RequirementsLearning & Assessment Methods
Observation through practical treatment sessions, assignments, class tests and case studies are undertaken throughout the course. The main part of the course is practical, but theory is undertaken at each session.

Progression Opportunities
On successful completion of this course and with a suitable reference from your tutor, you could progress to a NVQ Beauty Therapy course or onto one of our part-time Beauty or Holistic Therapy courses.
