Nail Technician (Gel & Acrylic)

The Nail Technician (Acrylic & Gel) course covers all relevant techniques for the application, infill, rebalancing and removal of Acrylic and Gel nails.

The course is designed to create a professional and confident Nail Therapist. The limitation of numbers attending the course and the combination of theory and practical elements are designed to create Nail Technicians of the highest standard.

The Nail Technician course is conducted over five days practical training in total. This consists of three days acrylic application, followed by a day of gel application, together with the theory exam for the gel course. Students will then need to return with their model(s) after a fourteen day break for rebalancing the regrowth of the nail and dealing with any other problems. Students will also be expected to complete the Acrylic theory exam on the final day of the course.

Students will be given the choice of completing either Pot or Hybrid Gel application. Please indicate when booking your preference. If students wish only to complete Hybrid Gel training, then this will be completed with the Acrylic section of the course, reducing the practical training to four days. A discount to the course cost will also be applied.

Students are normally expected to provide the models for each day of the course, however do advise the Academy if you are unable to do this and we will try to provide models for you. Models will be required for completion of the practical elements of the course including full application, and maintenance techniques. The practical application will be undertaken using high quality products. All successful candidates are registered with CND and will be able to purchase their products.
