Nail Technician NVQ Level 2 Course For any student wishing to be a Nail Technician in a salon or spa, or work on cruise ships or abroad, an NVQ Level 2 in Nail Services is the ideal qualification for you. The course covers Manicure and Pedicure on Day 1, Gel or Acrylic on Days 2 & 3 and Nail Art on Day 4. You will choose which system to work with when you attend the course. As a nail technician your job description will be extensive. You will need to be able to apply and decorate false nails and nail extensions, whilst consulting on the general health and well being of the client's hands and feet. You will need to know the necessary procedures to carry out a manicure or pedicure for the client and you may even want to use basic massage techniques to relax the client's hands and feet. The Nail Technician Professional Diploma Course covers all of these areas in detail. It ensures that you will be fully prepared to either set up your own business as a Nail Technician or be sufficiently qualified to work as a Nail Technician. Included in the Nail Technician Professional Diploma Course is all you need to know about manicure and pedicure, and thus you will not be required to study for a separate manicure and pedicure qualification in order to become qualified through Stonebridge Associated Colleges.
