About this course

To gain entry on this course you will normally need to have GCSEs at grades C and above in English, Maths and Science, a First Diploma or relevant industrial experience. We will assess whether this is a suitable course for you at an informal interview and through initial assessment activities. If Maths or English are not at the required level, candidates will be required to take part in Key Skills. This would either be block form or extended hours.

Course Content:
This course is a theory based programme designed to give you an in-depth knowledge of the skills needed to work and progress, in time, to a managerial level within the motor vehicle and technology industries. There are two routes to choose from, light vehicle and heavy vehicle. There are 12 units to complete.

This is a 1 year (36 weeks) course and you will be required to attend 10 hours per week, (Daytime Study).

Progression:
If you are successful on this course you can move onto a variety of HNC courses in vehicle repair and technology or related subjects.
