Learning through covid was different as we could only do the vice grip on a mannequin which is easier than a human, however it was still very useful.

Course programme
The National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is made up of two units. Unit 1 (31 hours) - The Priniciples of Lifesaving and Swiming Pool Supervision and Unit 2 (7 hours) - The Application of Supervision and Rescue in a Swimming Pool. Validity of the qualification is two years and must be renewed prior to the expiry date of the existing qualification.
