National Vocational Qualifications in Health and Safety

Course Overview

This open programme assesses the competence of those with health and safety responsibility. We offer two levels of NVQ:

Level 3: is designed for those in a hands on role involving health and safety.
Level 4: is designed for those with the authority to develop and implement a safety management system and undertaken detailed assessments.

Our Approach

We are the largest health and safety NVQ assessment centre in the UK. With experienced staff trained in providing NVQ services, based throughout the UK, you can be assured about the quality and hallmark of undertaking a British Safety Council NVQ.

Our NVQ programme offers a flexible approach to achieving the recognised qualification awarded by City and Guilds. Supported by an experienced and qualified health and safety practitioner. Candidates build a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate competence across the NVQ areas. This portfolio is then verified by an internal verifier who ensures that candidates are achieving the standards across the centre.
