Objectives
At the conclusion of the course participants will have

a through knowledge of how to apply for naturalisation and
registration as a British citizen.

necessary to consider when making an application.
In addition to the practicalities of making an application, they will be

have a thorough understanding of how to challenge adverse decisions,
of recent case law and of planned changes to the law.
The course is intended to assist solicitors and other advisers who
encounter issues of nationality law and policy in their casework. The
coverage is aimed at those immigration advisors who require a good
grounding in the practicalities of nationality law. It also covers the
more complex issues in the field in greater depth.
