Course Aims:
This hands-on introduction to construction and engineering is ideal for those who would like to follow a career in one of these fields but are unsure which path to follow or require the development of their core skills before progressing. Upon successful completion, students are guaranteed entry to any of our Level 4 courses in construction or engineering. The course will help you explore your own abilities and strengths and allow you to decide future course and career progression. This course is almost entirely practical in nature and will suit individuals who are considering a career in either construction or engineering but require development in core skills before progression.

Progression Opportunities:
Successful candidates will be able to progress to any of our Intermediate 1 level courses in construction and engineering.

Although it is possible for successful candidates to progress into work from this course it is envisaged that skills and knowledge would be required to develop further through progression onto our Intermediate 1 level courses.
