Course programme

What Will I Learn

Students will be given the opportunity to study and gain practical experience in a range of land-based industries including conservation, horticulture, agriculture and more.

This course helps our students to reach their full potential and is designed to provide an open entry route to further study and offer a first step on the ladder opportunity for students who may not yet be ready for higher level courses. Subjects include:

· Estate maintenance, skills for employment

· Constructing rural features and structures

· Tractor operations, introduction to crops and livestock

· Woodland skills and introduction to tree identification

When Will it Run

The course will run for 18 weeks, 4 days a week, from w/c 8th February 2016.
