Applicants should have at least two passes at Intermediate 1 including English or Communication.Selection is by interview.We also welcome mature students without formal qualifications or experience who wish to change career, demonstrating a passion for the travel and tourism industry.

Course programme

This course is designed to equip you with the skills required to develop a career in the travel and tourism industry. It will allow you to develop organisational skills as well as skills in working with customers, in the organising of travel and accommodation, in the UK and in Europe. You will also gain an awareness of working effectively and efficiently, including the importance of customer care in the hospitality and tourism industry.


One academic year.

You will study the following as part of the course:

Business Practices in Travel and Tourism; Selling Skills; Skills for Customer Care; Tourist Destinations; Travel and Tourism: An Introduction; Travel and Tourism: Enhancing Skills for Employment; Accommodation and Package Holidays; Airport Ground Operations: An Introduction; British Isles Tourist Destinations; European and Mediterranean Tourist Destinations; Marketing in Travel and Tourism: An Introduction; Resort Representation: An Introduction; Working as Air Cabin Crew: An Introduction.
