Aim of course
This course is designed for people who wish to develop their knowledge of infection control within a range of settings. It will be particularly useful for those working in health and care settings

What will the course involve?
The learner will need to undertake an intial induction and assessment to ensure their suitability for this mode of delivery. Also, the learner will need to be observed by a vocationally competent person at the end of unit 1 whilst demonstrating a good hand-washing technique, and in the correct use of PPE. This could be your line manager if s/he is vocationally competent. Once enrolled the learner will work through the learning materials and complete the necessary assessments.Progression: Related certificate programmes, such as Palliative Care, or other Distance Learning courses Standard Cost (Subject to conditions) : from £0 (if your training is booked via your employer) to £20
