Are there any entry requirements?
This course has been developed for students in schools and colleges or anyone who has an interest in raising their own understanding of drug use in society. There are no formal entry requirements but a basic level of written English is required. You must be over 16 years old to enrol on this course.

What will I study?
You will learn about different types of drugs, why they are used, social and personal effects of drug use, how this is commonly portrayed and about society's perceptions of and response to drug use. The course will include lots of discussions, group and individual work.

What can I do after this course?
On successful completion of this course you could progress onto the NVQ level 2: Youth Work.
