This course gives learners the opportunity to develop skills in producing moving images and gain underpinning knowledge of moving image production. It is an ideal for people who would like to gain employment in the moving image industry or for those already working in this industry and would like to gain a recognised qualification.
Learn to:
· Explore a range of applications for creative uses of video and moving images
· Demonstrate understanding of the need for planning documents in the production and prepare your own shooting script, storyboard, shooting schedule and location survey
· Record a descriptive or narrative sequence with a video camera both in a studio and on location.
· Edit original material from a wide range of sources to produce a finished moving image product
· Explore the types of employment available within the industry and demonstrate an awareness of business practice.
