The NCFE Level 3 Award in Assessing Candidates using a Range of Methods has been accredited by the qualifications regulators for England, Wales and Northern Ireland* and is part of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).

Achieving this award

The NCFE Level 3 Award in Assessing Candidates using a Range of Methods is made up of one mandatory unit:

  • Unit 01 Assess candidates using a range of methods
    • To achieve the Award, candidates must successfully complete the mandatory unit.
    • To successfully complete the unit, each candidate has to provide evidence satisfying all the ‘statements of competence' or performance and knowledge requirements in the unit.

The standards for the mandatory unit are provided in Section 2 of this document.
