NEBDN National Diploma Dental Nursing Yr 1 of 2

This course prepares students for the NEBDN National Diploma Dental Nursing exam. Successful achievement of this exam is necessary for applying for registration with the General Dental Council (mandatory for all dental nurses employed in the UK)For day class students, work placement gives students the opportunity to develop dental nursing skills in the workplace.The course is: 18 month (3 semesters - 34 weeks year one, 20 weeks year 2) part-time course Approx. 8 hours per week plus work placementDay class: 2 days in class (day 1 9:30 – 3pm + Day 2 9am – 12md)2 days in dental surgeryEvening Class: 3 hours one night per week
