NEBOSH CONSTRUCTION
Entry Requirements
The Certificate is designed for people
who have an involvement in construction work and need to provide advice on
health, safety and welfare in construction work. The course satisfies
entry requirements for application to Tech IOSH* or equivalent awards.
Description
The
updated Construction Certificate launched by NEBOSH in the Summer 07
comprises 3 units: NGC1 Management of Health and Safety (Unit 1 of the
General Certificate), NCC1 Managing and Controlling Hazards in
Construction Activities and NCC2 Construction Health and Safety Practical.
This
course provides employees in the construction industry with the essential
knowledge required to enable them to take an active part in the management
of health and safety in their workplace. It covers key construction issues
in more technical detail.

Where a course is aimed towards an
assessment/examination, it is expected that all students will enter for
the qualification.

One practical and two
written examinations.
