Course programme
The NEBOSH Diploma Conversion course is a condensed version of the NEBOSH National Diploma and it's assumed that candidates are up to date with the material covered in NEBOSH Diploma Part 1
With the phasing out of the previous NEBOSH Diploma Parts 1 & 2, we are continuing to offer the opportunity for NEBOSH Diploma Part 1 holders (who have not proceeded to NEBOSH Diploma Part 2) to study for and sit the NEBOSH National Diploma examinations. Candidates must complete the application forms before a place on the course can be confirmed.
Course delivery
Delivery will be on a block release, unit by unit basis. Each unit is five days, with optional revision courses available. Teaching techniques include formal tutorials, syndicate exercises, directed personal research, feedback presentations, discussion groups and evening exercises.

Unit C Workplace and work equipment (5 days)

Unit D Workplace based assignment
The focus of the Unit D assignment should be the application of the knowledge and understanding developed in Units A, B and C to a real workplace situation. Registration submission is March and September each year.
Course assessments
- Each unit will be assessed by a ‘unit’ examination and completion of the 8000 word Unit D assignment.
- There will also be three examinations, one for each unit. The pass mark for each examination will be 45%.
- Delegates have the flexibility to spread their exams and assignment over the full 3 year enrolment period.
- The overall mark will be an aggregate of the examination and assignment marks with slightly more emphasis being given to the examination marks.
Examinations
There will be three examinations, one for each unit, held in January and July. The pass mark for each one is 45%.
