To prepare delegates for the NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma exams and to provide health and safety professionals with the knowledge required to combat the wide variety of risks we face at work. All delegates who successfully attend the course and successfully complete both the course assignments and examinations will be awarded the National NEBOSH (Level 6) Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health. Suitable for: Who should attend? Health and safety professionals seeking full IOSH membership (CMIOSH). Delegates will preferably hold a NEBOSH National General Certificate, or Level 3 equivalent, achieved within the last three years. Exceptions will be decided on a case-by-case basis, subject to experience, submission of a CV, and an employer's testimonial.

Delegates will need to have successfully completed one of the following: NEBOSH National General Certificate (after December 2003)* NEBOSH Construction Certificate (after December 2004)* TUC Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health (min. of 16 credits at level 3) Level 3 N/SVQ in Health and Safety in the Workplace *Students must demonstrate CPD for dates before these.

Unit D - Mandatory Assignment
Unit D is incorporated into the core units of the Diploma. The Mentoring Package gives the student access to a tutor with experience of NEBOSH assignment criteria. One-to-one sessions are available with the tutor throughout the registration period.
All delegates who successfully attend the course and successfully complete both the course assignments and examinations will be awarded the National NEBOSH (Level 6) Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health.
Qualification and certification:
One written assignment and one exam per unit. Delegates who successfully complete these assessments will be awarded a Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health. Holders of the Diploma will be entitled to use the designatory letters Dip.OSH after their names. Sucessful delegates will be eligible to apply to join the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) at a graduate level depending on experience.
