Aims

The aims of the Graduate Diploma in Network Systems programme are:

  • Analysis of the core networking technologies and Information Processing.
  • A Methodological Development of Networks.
  • Analysing and troubleshooting the networked systems
  • Management, Organisational and Social issues related to implementation of Network Systems.
  • A broad understanding of computer usage such as multimedia, networking and Security.

Year 3 (2 semesters of 15 weeks, commencing September, February)

  • Network Optimization Technologies
  • Wireless Networks and Networks Security
  • Network Management

Semester 6

  • Dissertation

Each module is worth 15 credits and Dissertation is worth 60 credits. Students gaining 120 credits will be awarded the Graduate Diploma in Network Systems by LSM.
