On West Anglia Training Association

Provider description
The success of WATA students on our flagship range of health, safety and environmental management courses, continues to be exceptional. WATA students scooped an unprecedented hat-trick of awards from NEBOSH for the Best Candidates for 2006. Our pass rates in NEBOSH, IOSH, CIEH and IEMA examinations are also outstanding.

Delegates choose WATA with the confidence that our pass rates are consistently far above the national average. WATA is now acknowledged as a leader amongst UK providers of health and safety training. On the international front we now have a training centre in Bahrain offering a range of courses, including the NEBOSH International Certificate. For those with an interest in practical courses our Skills department offers a full range of electrical and mechanical training courses, with revisions, for example, on the anticipated 17th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations. Also, our YT team manages 157 apprenticeships on behalf of some 50 local companies. We continue to improve our site here in Hartford and we expect to begin construction of an additional training facility this autumn. Our aim is to provide the best environment we can to aid learning and achievement. As a Registered Charity we are keen to provide training and services, which are widely accessible, and our Community Discount Scheme is designed to achieve such accessibility.
