Non-Licensed Asbestos Training

Where asbestos needs to be worked on, specific training is required. Most companies take the view that asbestos should only be worked on by a HSE Licensed Contractor, but this can become expensive and restrictive having to wait for the Contractor to arrive on site. Non-Licensed training will allow works on asbestos materials that present a low risk. An example of this are tasks such as drilling through an asbestos containing Decorative Textured Coating, working on asbestos floor tiles, asbestos cement works, etc.

This level of training is an addition following or combined with Asbestos Awareness training and follows guidance issued by the HSE.

The course is delivered over one day and is structured to ensure the candidates fully understand their legal requirements and to ensure that they can work safely with Asbestos containing Materials.
