Course programme

How do you study?


You will timetabled for 3 days a week over a 35 week period, with sessions running from 9.30am until 3.00pm - however, this will be dependent on your existing GCSE grade profile, and can be further discussed during your interview. The units that you will study will come from the core subject area, and are detailed in the more info box. These can be achieved at a Pass, Merit or Distinction Level. Along with your core subject units, you will study a range of subjects that build and prepare you for academic study at university level, such as: Developing Your Research Skills, Academic Writing and Examination Techniques & Practices. Overall, you will complete 20 units which correlate to 60 credits for full achievement of the Access to HE Diploma.
