Course Aim

An NVQ is an award that demonstrates you are expereinced and competent in your trade. In relation to the construction industry. It is mandatory from 2010 for any construction trades person to hold an NVQ - or working towards one for them to hold an CSCS card and be able to work on a building site or development contracts. We at Chase Tiling Academy are able to assess you for an NVQ2 in Wall and Floor Tiling using our qualified A1 Assessors.


Course Entry Requirements

In order to qualify for an assessment for an NVQ2 in Wall and Floor Tiling, you must fall into one of the these categories: have at least 3 years tiling experience, with evidence to prove this (for funded candidates throught OSAT)

OR

Practising wall and floor tiling who can provide sufficent evidence of experience.

VR01 Conform to general workplace safety

VR02 Conform to efficient work practices

VR03 Move and Handle Resources

VR141 Prepare backgrounds for tiling

VR142 Tile Wall and Floor Surfaces
