NVQ3 in Hospitality Supervision

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

You will normally need to have a least one of the following:

• A NVQ 2 in Hospitality or equivalent
• 5 GCSE'S at grades C or above including Maths and English
• Other related level 2 qualifications to a Merit / C grade equivalent

Progression. This is an advanced level course, leading onto a career in Hospitality Supervision

WHAT WILL I LEARN?
The course is made up of 8 units - five mandatory core units and three specialist units looking at promotion work and supervising functions.

WHAT CAN THIS COURSE LEAD TO?
A NVQ level 3 Hospitality Supervision prepares you for employment and provides a good grounding to go into full time employment or study a more advanced course such as:

• BTEC Level 4 Diploma or Certificate in Management
• Foundation Degree in Hospitality Management
• Employment at a supervisor level in Hospitality

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Participate in Corporate hospitality work experience with tutors at events such as:

• Ascot Racing
• Glastonbury Music Festival
• Chelsea Flower show
• And several prestigious island based weddings and events

Take the Opportunity to work on outside catering events around the Island.
