NVQ 2 Performing Engineering Operations Entry Requirements

• A range of GCSEs at D or above including Maths, English and preferably Science or equivalent OR
• A relevant Level 1 qualification with equivalent literacy and preferably numeracy.

Entry is subject to a successful interview.

Content
This course may be studied as part of a Programme-Led Apprenticeship in Engineering
You will develop practical mechanical skills including turning, welding, milling and grinding together with maintenance and engineering principles theory. Key Skills and the OCNW Level 2 Certificate in Health and Safety will form part of your final qualifications.

Progression This course represents the first year of a full craft apprenticeship, leading to work-based learner employment with further day release training studying the VRQ Engineering Diploma Level 3 to complete a full apprenticeship.
