Course programme

What will I study on the course?

You will study Health and Safety, working effectively and efficiently in engineering and communicating technical information. You will also study additional units including basic domestic electrical installation, electronic circuitry and electrical maintenance, including fault finding and testing. Ideal if you would like to develop skills and knowledge for work in the engineering industry.

Additional information

You will attend college on a Thursday evening between 5.30 and 9pm. You will collect and build evidence for your work based portfolio and will be assessed in the electrical workshop whilst carrying out practical activities relating to your work. You will receive guidance and support relating to your progress throughout the qualification process.
