Course Description:
In order to enrol onto this programme you need to be working as a Taxi driver.

Description Breakdown:
In addition to the NVQ, this programme covers:
•Customer Service and communication skills.
•Safe driving
•Emergency First Aid.
•Health Safety
•Preparation to make a passenger carrying journey.
•Supporting passengers with special needs.
•Drive taxies safely and efficiently
•Deal effectively with challenging passengers.

In addition to work based assessment whilst carry out normal fares there is 18 hours of classroom based interactive theory input.

What qualification do I need to start the course?

Candidates will need to demonstrate a good standard of English verbal communication. All candidates will receive initial advice and guidance to establish the most appropriate training programme. Some candidates may benefit from undertaking English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) training before enrolling onto this NVQ.
