NVQ Level 3
The term NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) means the qualification
has been approved by the Qualifications Curriculum Authority, this is
usually the City and Guilds
NVQ's in Care are based on standards set by
the care sector and are recognised by employers in the UK and abroad. To
gain an NVQ in Care you will be assessed in your normal work setting
performing familiar tasks to the required standards.

Course content
The course contains four mandatory units and
four optional units.
Course delivery and assessment
Learners work with as assessor and individually, completing activities and
assessments for each unit. Your assessor will observe you carrying out
practical tasks during your normal working hours in order that you can
meet the requirements of The National Occupational Standards.
Progression opportunities
On completion of this programme you may be
able to progress on to NVQ Health and Social Care Level 4, if your work
role is suitable.
