NVQ INTERNAL VERIFIER AWARD V1 Entry Requirements
An interview is required. Candidates need to be working with competency based NVQ's and have held an Assessor Awards for more than 12 months (a copy of the Certificate is required prior to commencement). A minimum of two assessors is required for portfolio building.

Candidates need to be involved in organising, implementing and evaluating internal verification/moderation activities in addition to regular contact with the Awarding Body and External Verifier.
Description
This is a distance learning course with individual support throughout.
Course Content
- Individual guidance and support meeting with your assessor
- Observation in the workplace
- Profession discussions
- Portfolio building
- Assessment and internal verification of portfolio in line with BCOT and awarding body requirements

This course is for a maximum of 15 weeks it is anticipated that most candidates will complete well in advance of this time scale.

After completing this course you should be able to
- Carry out and evaluate internal assessment and qualify assurance systems
- Support and advise assessors
- Monitor the quality of assessors' performance
- Meet external quality assurance requirements
Where a course is aimed towards an assessment/examination, it is expected that all students will enter for the qualification.
