Course Units - continuous assessment in centre - no formal exams

  • 101 Assist with the care of horses - feeding, grooming etc
  • 102 Assist with cleaning stables and yard - mucking out etc
  • 103 assist with putting on and taking off tack rugs and equipment
  • 104 Assist with handling horses - catching, moving, show in hand
  • 105 Maintain health, safety and good working relations
  • 106 (Optional unit) Ride horses for exercise in enclosed area
