(NVQ) Level 2 Hairdressing

Our Level 2 hairdressing courses in Manchester are a comprehensive academic and practical study of basic hairdressing. Level II hairdressing will give you the basic skills you need for many career paths. On completion of this course successful students will be awarded a professional certificate and advice on obtaining insurance in order to perform on paying clients.

This course is offered as:

• An intensive course, which is 25 weeks allowing students to study two days a week.
• One year studying 1 day a week

Some course work will be done at home on smartscreen along with some practice on blocks and eventualy friends and family. We do our best to provide models in our salon but you will be expected to bring some for certain assesments.

Entry requirements

A good level of Maths and English are essential for candidates hoping to enrol onto this course. Candidates should not under estimate the time and effort that needs to go into this course, you will be assessed at each step and students who are unable to commit fully to this course will not gain the full certificate.
