Plant Operators NVQ Level 2
Accreditation Body: City and Guilds Introduction/Summary The NVQ is aimed both at new plant operators who hold the red trained operator card as well as experienced operators looking to gain formal recognition for their plant operating skills. Qualification Once the company has been assessed to ensure that its health and safety standards meet those set by the LSC then there are two paths for the NVQ to take. Firstly someone who our assessors feel is an experienced worker and secondly for someone who is a novice and who our assessors feel need additional training to enhance their skill levels to enable achievement of the NVQ. Both paths will require an induction and then a series of skills assessments, however should training be required then a relevant training programme will be designed at no additional cost. Mandatory Units To attain the NVQ the candidates will be assessed on 3 mandatory units
