NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development
Level 3 Workplace Approximately 8 Months Part Time

The NVQ Level 3 in CCLD is a vocational qualification that is all delivered in the work-place.
You will be allocated an Assessor who will visit you regularly to plan for assessments and the collection of evidence for your portfolio.

At Level 3, the NVQ in Children's Care, Learning and Development is made up of 5 Mandatory Units that a learner has to achieve. There is also a requirement that the learner completes 4 optional units in addition to these. Learners can choose their optional units with their allocated assessor and therefore tailor their qualification depending upon the age of the children they work with and the type of Early Years/Educational setting that they work within.
Mandatory Units are;
· Develop and promote positive relationships
· Develop and maintain a healthy, safe and secure environment for children
· Promote children's development
· Reflect on and develop practice
· Protect and promote children's rights

Foundation Degree in Integrated Children's and Young Peoples services.
