Who can take this qualification?

There are no entry requirements or age restrictions for these qualifications. It is open to any candidate who has the potential to meet the requirements for the qualifications.

You will need to be employed and working at a supervisory or technician level. This qualification will be assessed at your work place doing your job while you study for this qualification.

How does this qualification improve my career prospects?

Candidates can progress onto the Levels 4 NVQs for Communication Technology Professionals.

The particular circumstances of the candidate and employer may cause them to draw upon other units at higher or lower levels in order to achieve the qualification.

Each unit is assigned a value according to its level and size and to achieve a full NVQ, candidates must achieve a minimum total of 180 Unit Values.

Candidates must complete 180 Unit Values to achieve this Level 3 qualification.
