NVQ Level 3 in Management

These management qualifications are competence based. This means that it is linked to the candidate's ability to competently perform a range of tasks connected with their work. Candidates plan a programme of development and assessment with their assessor and compile a portfolio of evidence to prove that they are competent and knowledgeable in their work role.

Who can take this qualification?

There are no formal qualifications needed and is for first line managers who have decision-making responsibilities for people and their performance and also assess their knowledge and understanding of key management activities. It also gives managers an opportunity to develop their performance in their job to become more effective and to progress their career.

What does it involve?

The learner will be assessed in their work place through naturally occurring work activity through observations and other assessment techniques.

Candidates are required to take seven units: four mandatory units plus three out of a choice of 11 optional units.

Mandatory Units (All Four):
