Course Content: This course will provide you with the opportunity to develop the skills necessary for direct chair-side work during a range of dental treatments, including equipment, instruments and materials.

Special Features: This course is made up of 3 Core units and 8 Pathway specific units. Students will be required to undertake an Appointed Persons First Aid course.

Course Format: Students will learn by tutor led input, workplace assessments and group work, Coursework assessment is in the form of written assignments and projects.

Progression: This qualification will enable learners to progress onto Higher Education courses including Dental Hygienist or Therapist, Teaching Dental Nursing, Dental Practice Management or other Dental related courses.
