This course applies to anyone who provides direct support for teaching & learning in any type of school - primary, secondary, special or pupil referral unit. It covers the role of a teaching assistant, and has been broadened in scope to include new roles & responsibilities such as cover supervision, exam invigilation & pastoral care.
Course content
This Level 3 qualification requires candidates to achieve six mandatory and four optional units.
Assessment
Observations in the workplace & completion of a portfolio of work based evidence.
Who is the course for?
This course is for learning & support staff employed in a school, with at least 1 years experience.
