NVQ Level 4 Business Improvement Techniques

This course focuses upon the tools and techniques of continuous improvement as a means of improving business performance. It covers improved business performance, reduction of costs and waste, maximise profits and revenues and reduce work place accidents.

This course helps students to improve business performance by educating and empowering the people who make up the organisation. They will learn about maximise productivity and profitability, reduce costs, variation and waste, improve business, performance and help win contracts, assist with recruitment and retention and demonstrate the quality of the workforce to existing and potential customers.

What's invloved in this course?

Learners must complete a minimum of 106 credits. Learners must complete all mandatory units in Group A (24 credits) and then choose one of the following pathways:

• NVQ Level 4 Diploma in Business-Improvement Techniques - Process Improvement (QCF)

Learners must complete all the units in Group B1 and a minimum of six
units from Groups B2*, B3 and B4** for a minimum total of 82 credits.
*A minimum of one unit must be taken from Group B2.
**A maximum of three units may be taken from Group B4.

• NVQ Level 4 Diploma in Business-Improvement Techniques - Quality Improvement (QCF)

Learners must complete all the units in Group C1.
Learners must complete a minimum of five units from Groups C2*, C3**
and C4*** for a minimum total of 96 credits.
*A minimum of one unit must be taken from Group C2.
**A minimum of one unit must be taken from Group C3.
***A maximum of three units may be taken from Group C4.
