This is a competence based qualification and comprises of 10 unit of which all are mandatory and will result in the achievement of 108 credits. This qualification is achieved by a blende approach - utilising work based learning and the production of a portfolio of evidence that can include observation, work product, testimony and professional discussion etc. Learners must be in a position to create, maintain & implement change and will therefore be in a suitable management position or similar. RPL is undertaken to create the learning plan and is bespoke to each individual. Suitable for: The qualification is about the development and implementation of good practice in health and safety matters in the workplace. Suitable for Senior Managers, Health and Safety Managers & Co-ordinators etc. The learner will have authority , influence and a great deal of autonomy in making decisions.

About this course

There are no specific entry requirements or prior learning for this qualification however, learners might find it useful if they've completed previous qualifications related to health and safety in the workplace and can demonstrate suitable levels of literacy and numeracy - a bespoke training plan will be created for each individual. Learners to be at least 19 years old.
