Occupational Health & Safety - Level 2 (RQF) Course

Approximately 27 million working days were lost due to work-related illness or workplace injury during 2012.

Good knowledge of health and safety is becoming a vital skill in the workplace as it benefits the employees, employers and general safety at work.

This qualification covers all aspects of health and safety, from risk assessments to fire safety. The course enables you to progress in a role where health and safety exists or is part of your responsibility.

The course includes the following units:

• Unit 1:Health & Safety in the Workplace (1 Credit)
• Unit 2:Fire Safety Principles (1 Credit)
• Unit 3:DSE Risk Assessment (2 Credits)
• Unit 4: COSHH Risk Assessment (2 Credits)
• Unit 5:Manual Handling Safety at Work (2 Credits)

On successful completion of this course, students will receive a Level 2 QCF Award Qualification with 8 Credits.
