Course programme
This three part course gives an introduction to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy offering an excellent insight into CBT and its applications.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy helps transform thinking, and behavioural patterns. This training will increase your awareness and understanding of the use of CBT Techniques. Unlike some other therapies which focus on the past causes, CBT concentrates on the presenting problem in the “here and now” looking at ways to positively enhance the state of mind.
CBT is now being recognised by the medical profession to be one of the most effective treatments for anxiety and depression and can be as effective as anti-depressants.
The skills that you will learn on this course can be beneficial and integrated within your therapy or supporting role.
This course consist of 6 days attendance training split into 3 x 2 days over a period of 12 weeks with some homework allocated.
