OCR Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production Level 3

You will use a wide range of media technology in a professional and creative way. The course covers radio and video production, film studies, and an introduction to multimedia and journalism.

You will develop your skills in:

• video and radio production,
• web design,
• media workshops in multimedia,
• designing and publishing print media,
• journalism (radio, video and print),
• critical analysis of the media industry and practices,
• film studies,
• contextual and cultural literacy.

You will specialise in video or radio production.

Entry Requirements

• A minimum of five GCSEs grade A*-C, including English language and an art, design or media related subject, and maths at grade D or above, or
• a level 2 qualification at overall merit grade, English at level 2 and maths at level 1.

Mature students will be assessed on an individual basis through screening and all applicants will attend a college interview.
