The HLO is the appointed responsible person for the day-to-day management of the offshore installation helideck, and must be in control of the associated helideck operations and the helideck crew. This course has been designed for HLO's and delegates who have helideck experience that wish to further their knowledge.
Delegates are trained and assessed in the use of short-range radio equipment by providing theoretical input and using a radio simulator. This course is essential for users of VHF or SRC radio equipment.
