With Roger Jones
If
you are just starting out with oils or are more experienced, and want to
develop a surer approach and personal style, this course will give you all
you need to know.
Understanding variations in tone, those patterns of
light and dark, and using them as a basis for your painting is a vital
first step towards convincing and appealing work. The resulting well
composed underpainting invites 'painting by numbers'; well almost!
We
will explore my seven essentials to painting, which include two particular
paint handling and brushwork skills.
Reference pictures, original
paintings will guide us and there are notes and demonstrations for you to
keep.
