Course programme

PADI train the highest volume of divers in the world. These divers carry the most respected and sought after scuba credentials in the world. No matter where you choose to dive, your PADI certification card will be recognized and accepted. In fact, on most dive adventures you’ll be surrounded by other PADI Divers who made the same certification choice you did – to train with the world’s largest and most respected diver training organization. The PADI Open Water Diver course is the single most popular diving course in the world; it’s your 1st step into the exciting undersea world of scuba diving.

Course Format
The course involves tuition in 3 main areas - Knowledge Development, Confined Water Training and 4 Open Water Qualification Dives. We aim to keep all of our courses to a maximum of 6 students, as we strongly believe that small groups are a key factor of the learning process.

Knowledge Development
The theory element of the course is completed with the help of an Open Water manual and crew pack. This is designed to allow you to study in the confort of your own home. Before each pool session your Instructor will go through the manual with you, providing you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have during the classroom session.

Confined Water Training
Adventures Scuba Schools focus is on providing quality training at affordable prices to fit in with busy lifestyles. The confined water training can either be completed over one weekend or by attending 5 weekly pools sessions required to complete the course. However it can vary for each student, and additional sessions, if required, are available.

Open Water Evaluation Dives
This involves 4 open water dives over a period of 2 days in which you will be required to demonstrate your newly acquired diving skills! Having made these dives successfully, you will have earned the world’s most recognised diving qualification.

You can complete these dives with us either in the UK or on one our many trips abroad, or you can choose to complete them on your next holiday with another PADI Dive centre.

We run regular weekend diving trips to inland dive sites for qualifying dives but are also able to offer mid week dates by prior arrangement.

What do I need to start?
• You need to be of good health with a reasonable level of fitness.
• You need to be at least 10 years of age.

We have an ASA qualified teacher on our staff who will be happy to help you with any swiiming instruction you may require.
