Are you looking to gain technical knowledge and skills required to work as a hotel receptionist in the United Kingdom and abroad? The Hotel Receptionist & Opera PMS London Course offered by Reception and published in emagister.com is the right choice.

The course is aimed at everyone looking for start their career within the hospitality industry, no experience required. It is the shorter version of the full Hotel Receptionist Course. Nevertheless, it covers the UK 5 stars hotel essential procedures and brand standards including welcoming guests, reservation procedures, booking over the phone and dealing with client complaints, among others. Candidates will also learn how to operate the most used reservation system: Opera Property Management System V5 Full Service. This is the most popular hotel software and most job applications require experience with this software. Practical training includes check-in and check-out, as well as creating bookings and cancellations with Opera.

The intensive training consists of five days. Candidates will have access to an individual computer. Upon successful completion of the course, they will gain a certificate from Reception Academy.

About this course

Upon completion all students shall be familiar with using Opera PMS to create bookings, complete check-ins, check-outs, process cancellations, carry out amendments, exchange foreign currency etc.
This provides our students with a working knowledge of Hotel procedures and prepares them to run the reservation system efficiently.

There are no restrictions for attendance however we generally recommend this course for applicants with some previous Hotel Receptionist experience.

Conversational level of English and passion for the Hospitality Industry. Those applicants who do not have a conversational level of English are advised to complete our Hospitality English Language course.

Reception Academy's students are trained in accordance with 5 star brand standards of international hotels. Through tailored courses we prepare these skilled candidates to successfully embark upon Hospitality careers. In partnership with over 800 Hotels we maintain a 95% employment success rate for our graduates. What I would highlight: I just completed a one week course with the Academy, here in Dublin, Ireland. I just want to say a big obligation to the Academy for putting on a brilliant course I acknowledged so much and relished it so much. Our tutor Martin was fabulous, to the point very clear and just a complete fabulous guy. I am so cheerful I did it and maybe one day I will do the one month course, thanks academy for taking the course to Ireland, It was a delectation doing the course, again obliged, I suggest the course very highly
