Options Xtra

Options Xtra The Options Xtra Programme offers students the chance to widen their College experience via a diverse range of enrichment activities outside of normal lessons. The a wide range of opportunities allows students to try something different, make new friends, have fun and acquire new skills and experiences while enhancing their CV.
Options XTRA is an important part of the College's sixth form offer - we know, for example, that many employers and universities look for and recognise involvement and achievement that can students apart from the crowd.

The many options on offer include

Wednesday afternoon enrichment - mostly various sport and performing arts activities.

Subject led activities - Art and Design, Film Club, Languages, College Magazine, visits etc.

Personal Development - work experience, Duke of Edinburgh, sign language, expeditions, juggling and circus skills.

The Tutorial Programme - visiting speakers , charity events, Student Union work etc.
