The course addresses database server issues that all DBAs will need to be aware of. As a product, Oracle is ever expanding its horizons to a degree that now encompasses a significant proportion of the datacentre skills requirement. There is no longer time for an individual to learn Oracle offerings in their entirety. In response, many data centres have DBAs specialising in particular areas of Oracle DBA and we have adjusted our course breakdown to reflect this. The "11G new features for DBAs" course is a good introduction that will make all DBAs aware of platform advancements at the new release.
