Introduction:
This evening only course is available to students who are working in a dental practice and who have gained essential background knowledge in this area of work.

Study Mode & Location:
This one year part-time course lasts for 2.5 hours per week and will be held at Preston College, Fulwood Campus, St Vincent`s Road, Preston, PR2 8UR.

Course Content:
The course includes the following units:

• Health & Safety
• Cross Infection
• All Dental Treatments
• Radiography
• Conservation
• Oral Health
• Reception Skills
• Dental Anatomy

Assessment:
Work based assessments and evidence built from surgery procedures. You will also complete a portfolio of evidence and a theory based assessment.

Careers & Progression Opportunities:
Dental Nurse qualification/registration. Access to post qualification courses in radiography, oral health, orthodontics, sedation and special care.

How To Apply
You will need to have an informal interview with a Adult Admissions Adviser.
Many courses have limited places so please enquire as soon as possible. Following interview, the earliest you may enrol is mid-June.

Depending upon your circumstances, you may be able to study for FREE or at a reduced price.
